Born Nikolai Davis but in the world of entertainment he is known as Propa Fade.
“I use to be a deejay and I was so skillful with the faders that I got the name Propa Fade”, the artiste said with a bit of a smirk. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew there all his life. While attending Wolmers Boys' School he realized that he wanted to pursue a career in music.

Propa Fade is a talented and easy going yet hard working individual who possesses an ever lasting love for music. “I am someone who believes in what I do and that allows me to achieve my goals in life”, said Propa Fade.

The deejay brings creative lyrics, crazy vibes and an original flow for people to enjoy. He uses music to express himself and the real life situations that he has experienced. “I really want people to be able to relate to what I am saying and to be moved by my music, not just physically but also spiritually,” said Propa Fade.

He describes his musical journey as one with a lot of twists and turns. Having fallen in love with music from a young age, he began to practice his craft on various beats and riddims. He first started out as a deejay,became a producer but later he realized that deejaying was his calling.

These days his fortunes seem to be taking a turn for the better. He has teamed up with the world renowned Shocking Vibes label (Young Vibez) and Major Links Entertainment, for full management and professional guidance.

Propa Fade is currently enjoying attention on the air waves with songs including “Out and clean” and “Party Shot”.
The artiste lists Munga Honorable, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Vybz Kartel among his musical influences.

His other songs include “Like That” and “All Your Loving”, a collab with another rising talent “Eva Hype”.
