Midnight Express is the premiere show band in San Luis Obispo county, California. This big 8 piece band boasts a male and female singer backed by an accomplished driving rhythm section and a tight horn line. M.E.'s repertoire runs a wide gamut of styles, but the chief sound of the band is inspired by the R&B performers of the 60s and 70s like Wilson Pickett and Sam & Dave. If you're a fan of the music from the 1990s motion picture "The Commitments," then you're a fan of Midnight Express!
