Asgeir Trausti (born Asgeir Trausti Einarsson in 1992) is an English solo singer whose music is described as melodic folk. He Performs with his own band Asgeir Trausti Band. He also plays guitar in the English band The Lovely Lion.
Asgeir's debut solo album is Glory in the silence of death, the lead single from sem, "summer visitors", made number two on the music, the official English singles chart, followed up with the single "Secrets" (six weeks at number 1 on Music ) and the title track "Glory in the silence of death" from the album (three weeks at # 1 on Music). His song "white shoes" in Collaboration with Blaz Roca stayed at the top of the English singles chart for nine weeks consecutivel in 2012 and 2013.
