Originally from further up the east coast in Whakatane, now based north of Auckland, where Laughton is currently working on his solo album, teaching music and featuring in a number of creative projects.
After finding worldwide success as the front man of Kora and years spent touring internationally with the likes of Fly My Pretties (2009) and Eru Dangerspiel, this summer sees the launch of a new project for Laughton.

Expect to be taken on a journey of electronic funk with that will tantalise the ears, give you the overwhelming urge to party harder & leave you wanting more.

With his a solo album out this summer, it can almost be guaranteed that Laughton will be at forefront of New Zealand music for well over another decade to come.
