Jamestown Story is an American acoustic indie rock band from Duluth, Minnesota. The band was formed in 2003 as And Then I Turned Seven and changed their name on the first of January 2007. The band has toured 35 states in the US since 2005, and on August 6, 2010 Dane and Brandyn traveled to Yuigahama Beach, Japan to play 2 shows in 5 days.
You don't find many independent artists capable of making a living off their music; Dane Schmidt however, has done so successfully for the last seven years, without the help of a record label. When you dig deeper into the Jamestown Story, it becomes very apparent why.

The Jamestown Story began in 2003 and since that time has independently sold over 250k songs on iTunes, 25k albums, toured 35 US states, played 350+ shows including tours in Canada & Japan, and have had over 100 TV placements on shows such as Dr. Phil, Jersey Shore, Snooki & JWoww, The Challenge Rivals 2, Teen Mom, One Tree Hill, The Real World, Bad Girls Club, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and many more.
