Jontay Damar Jordan has been singing all his life. From the age of 8 he started performing at his church and school choirs. Now he has proved to others that his talent is more than localized and has branched out into an opening act for more mainstream artists. A singing masterpiece such as Luther Vandross, Jontay lights up the stage and presents a personalized performance to his audiences. As a local Iowa performer, he brings a soulful tune with a twist of hip-hop which creates an inventive display.
Jontay is currently working on an upcoming self-titled album which should be released the summer of 2011. This album is the first of many upcoming albums which will be based off of an R&B and club like atmosphere which will be accessible to today’s listeners. Upcoming artists will be featured on his new album communicating a soulful sound and a real man approach. “I feel that this project will influence a lot of individuals and many will be able to relate to the music that is presented to them within this album”.
