Nai Palm's songs are always soulful, cathartic and replenishing without hemmed by a specific genre. She is intuitively driven as an artist and as a young woman, unafraid at taking risks, both sonically and in life with her heart open to the challenge of the adventure.

It has been a busy year for Nai, clocking up the Best New Talent at CMJ Music Marathon in NYC from major radio station KCRW where her band were in the Top 10 most played records for 2012.

She now counts Erykah Badu, Gilles Peterson, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Flying Lotus and The Roots among her fans and has recorded with both Shafiq Husayn and Taylor McFerrin.

Hiatus Kaiyote received Best Breakthrough Artist of 2012 at the Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards in London and their debut record "Tawk Tomahawk" has topped the blogisphere internationally and peaked as Album Of The Week on BBC6 Music.
