Just Ivy’s first single, “Paradise,” (Black Pearl Records / The Orchard), featuring music-superstar, Akon, and produced by REO of The Sound Killers (Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Keyshia Cole) is Ivy’s professional debut on the global music scene. With an infectious hook and hard hitting beat, the track is sure to tear up dance clubs and rock parties everywhere.

Just Ivy describes working with Akon, as “an incredibly elevating experience,” stating that to have an A-list, hit-making artist as her collaborator was both inspiring and a tremendous learning experience. “We were really going for a ‘feel good’ party record, and Akon’s whole vibe and energy just inspired me to do my best and gave the record that extra POP”, adds Just Ivy.

Ivy’s upcoming debut album will feature tracks from the likes of DJ Khaled and Meek Mill, and production from variety of A-list producers.

With inspirations ranging from Michael Jackson to Sade to Whitney Houston and Beyoncé, Ivy is looking to incorporate these influences into her music, all the while continuing to grow as an artist. “Paradise” is set to release in the states and internationally early August, followed by the video, and her second single “Bad Girl Take Over” produced by DJ Khaled featuring Meek Mill and DJ Khaled.
