Greg Ryall is an independent artist in every sense of the word. From writing, recording and playing practically every instrument on his own album to coordinating the release through his own record label, Greg has worked hard to take his first steps in the music industry. His debut album ‘First Things First’, is the product of Greg’s first few years of songwriting and was recorded in his own home. Over the past couple of years Greg has worked on his recording, arranging and producing skills to a point where he has produced a quality 12-track album. Greg has a strong passion in getting his music heard and because of this has released his debut album for free download, so it can be heard by as many people as possible.

Greg has confidence not only in the studio but also on stage and has been credited for the passion and enjoyment he puts into all his live performances and his ability to captivate audiences both young and old. Greg writes catchy yet heartfelt songs, both up tempo and thought provoking, with lyrics taking influence from all aspects of his life, from personal experiences to books he has read. Accompanying himself on both guitar and piano (and occasionally ukulele), Greg’s live performances are always varied and his infectious melodies often have crowds singing along by the end of the gig.

Greg is also active in promoting issues through his music, with his first single ‘Skies Won’t Last Forever’ released to raise money for an environmental charity and his song ‘It’s Our Time’ written to inspire young people to fight against the student fee increases.

Although very proud of his debut album, Greg sees this as only the starting point of his career in music and is already planning his next release. With the combination of his talent, drive and ambition, the future is set to be very bright for the young singer songwriter.
