Ian Thomas (born april 30 1997 as Ian Thomas Hoelen) is a singer/ teen idol from Belgium/Europe.
It all started in 2011 when Ian Thomas made a dutch version of Justin Bieber's megahit Baby.
While practising the song at home , Ian's stepfather Chris secretly video taped his performance.
Unaware of the impact it would give Chris uploaded the video on youtube.
Within days the video went viral and became a massive youtube hit.
Tv and radio stations shared the video and it came to the attention of a major record label.
Not long after the hype started Ian Thomas recorded the dutch version of Baby in a professional studio and it was released officially.
On March 26 2011, Baby went n1 on the Belgian charts.
Not long after that Ian Thomas recorded his first ever full album "More Than A Game" including hits (and original material) such as '' You Got Me Down" , "Kiss Kiss" and ''Autograph''.
The album went gold in Belgium and a new teen idol was born, Ian Thomas not only became a famous singer, he was also asked as a actor and model.
But music remained his first love.
In 2013 and now 16 years old Ian Thomas released his second album called Diversity, the album went top 20 in Belgium and it contained the hits La La Land and Dancefloor in Five.
it became clear that Ian Thomas was on a musical journey and after Diversity , Ian decided to bring the music he has always loved the most,Urban Pop, and stick to this genre.
Now with a new management and record label on his side Ian Thomas is ready for the next step in his career.
His new single ''Rain'' will be released September 30 2013 and it seems like Ian Thomas is heading full force towards the charts once again.
