Hate Division was brought to life in 2006. Their sound encompasses uncompromising brutality and anarchistic song structures infused with punishing vocals, blasting drums, melody and groove. Combining various elements of death metal and grindcore, their music provides a diverse listening experience for fans of all extreme metal genres.

Hate Division issued their self-released debut EP in February 2009. In the following months, the band played a handful of shows in support of this release, all-the-while continuing to focus on writing and fine-tuning new songs.

In October 2009, the band entered the studio to record their first full-length album entitled “Strategy of Obsolescence”. Consisting of 10 unrelenting tracks and cover art by Marco Hasmann (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Blasphemer), the album was released in February of 2011 through Pathologically Explicit Recordings.
