Xavier plant known as the artist Xavier Cafeine , or sometimes name Xavier Caffeine is a singer / musician indie rock and punk rock from Gatineau ( Quebec ) , and formerly associated with his original group , Cafeine1 .
His debut with Cafeine was mainly marked by a demonstration of his garage rock . However, it has recently adopted a sound like a combination of the first punk bands (eg The Clash , Bad Religion and The Pixies ) and its contemporary indy (which include Trail of Dead , Malajube and We Are Scientists ) . This new sound is especially discernible in his last albums. He is currently under contract with Indica Records , like Widget Vulgaires
